By focusing on the coping strategies, we critically analyze how refugee women, managed the livelihoods since the economy was in total lockdown and yet there was need to survive. The purpose of this study of the livelihood coping strategies among urban refugee women from Democratic Republic of Congo is to find out if there are any ways refugee women endeavored to find means of sustaining their livelihoods during the Covid 19 lockdown which was a testing time for everybody in the global context
