Elections in Uganda have had a history of irregularities. This is so, notwithstanding the existence of a legal framework that enables a free and fair electoral process. This article seeks to analyse the electoral process from a legal perspective examining the extent to which Uganda conducted its recently concluded elections in accordance with the law.
